Who Is Fred?
Fred's career includes a unique breadth and depth of experience as a consultant, senior executive, instructor and business owner. While no one can honestly claim to have "seen it all," Fred's exceptionally wide business background provides him with one of the most valuable assets a consultant can have: perspective.
Fred Janssen founded Janssen Consulting with a strong desire to share this perspective, along with his expertise, knowledge and experience, to help owners of closely-held businesses grow effectively and efficiently.
For 12 years Fred held the reins of corporate management in the field of retail management systems. There's simply not an area of operations in which he was not deeply involved, including ownership. He helped steer his companies through two acquisitions, the last to Epicor Software Corporation, one of the world's largest and fastest growing mid-market Enterprise Resource Planning companies.
Fred has been an instructor at Bellevue/North Seattle/Highline Community Colleges, teaching courses in business and accounting, and has given seminars on Entrepreneurship
He has many years of experience as a Business, Financial and Information Systems consultant, as well as having been a Certified Public Accountant in both Washington and California (certificates retired).
Fred prides himself on being professional, quick and competent, striving always to bring tangible and significant value to his clients. He loves the job of helping clients build their businesses by doing the right things the right way.
Fred lives in Bothell, Washington with his wonderful wife, Anne and their three beautiful children. His high standards permeate every aspect of his personal and business behavior, bringing balance to both.
